Added:Mar 20, 2019 5:41 pm The issued solicitation, RFP-0000297 will result in a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract under NAICs code 562910 (Environmental Remediation Services). Contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal best conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous based on technical approach, experience, price, ability to meet schedule, and other factors. Successful offeror shall furnish qualified management, personnel, equipment, materials, supplies and facilities to complete site characterization, investigation, and remediation of specified Solid Waste Management Units (SWMUs) and Areas of Concern (AOCs) within the Chaquehui and South Ancho Canyon Aggregate Areas located at Technical Area (TA) 33, and Lower Water/Indio Canyon Aggregate Area at TA-15. All field work will occur within the site boundaries of the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico. TA-33 and TA-15 include both uncleared and "Q" cleared work areas. Work scope includes characterization sampling to determine nature and extent of contamination; excavation and removal of contaminated soils; septic and drain line investigations and removals; geodetic, geophysical, and radiological surveys; drilling; waste sampling, packaging and staging; and, site stabilization/restoration. Under this solicitation , human health and ecological risk assessments will be required, as well as preparation of Investigation Reports for each Aggregate Area in accordance with the New Mexico Environment Department Compliance Order on Consent.A mandatory pre-job briefing will be held at the Buffalo Thunder Hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on April 10, 2019 followed by a mandatory site visit on April 11, 2019. Offeror's are required to RSVP by April 5, 2019 as detailed in the Request for Proposal (RFP) section 3.0.
