The Military Sealift Command (MSC) has a requirement for the upcoming Regular Overhaul/Dry-Docking (ROH/DD) on the USNS KANAWHA (T-AO 196) commencing on or about 25 March 2020 for seventy-five (75) calendar days.The USNS KANAWHA has a length of 677 Ft and 6 in, a Beam of 97 Ft, Draft of 36 Ft and Displacement of 40,700 long Tons and 42,382 short tons at full load. Area of consideration is East/Gulf Coast. Estimated date of Solicitation is on or about 05 November 2019. PIPING REPLACEMENT, HOSE REPLACEMENT , FIRE SMOKE & DAMPER SERVICE, STERN TAIL SHAFT & PROPELLER REPAIRS, PROPELLER SYSTEM MAINTENANCE & OD BOX GROOM, DOCKING & UNDOCKING, PROPELLER CLEAN AND POLISH ON DOCK, UNDERWATER HULL CLEANING & PAINTING SPOT BLAST, FREEBOARD PRESERVATION, WINCH BOOTH DECK RENEWAL, AND ASD REFURBISHMENT.This requirement will be solicited as full and open competition.
