The Embassy of the United States in Guyana will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available.The requirement is for providing Health and Life Insurance to locally employed staff of the U.S. Embassy Georgetown, Guyana. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four (4) one year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via the FedBizOpps web site. Note: The response date in this synopsis is not a firm date, please see the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the actual date.The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.
