202 Tool Cage

Added:Jul 26, 2019 8:59 amThis is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format inSubpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This requirement is for a professionally designed, vertical wall (cage) solution that is assembled on site using wire mesh fence panel materials; creating four equal sized secure equipment storage areas, which will include (4 each), four foot wide individual entry access doors. The cage walls will be required to be anchored and/or affixed between the existing concrete slab floor and an existing storage mezzanine structure. The intent is to provide equipment security for the four separate team cage areas within the defined interior open bay storage footprint in Building 2083 at Robins AFB. No welding on site shall be allowed during tool cage assembly.

Tool cage design and final assembly methods must support capability for future disassembly and potential relocation in order to best implement existing storage capability at a newly assigned facility location. This requirement is for non-personal services that do not require the direct supervision of contractor employees. The selected contractor will be responsible for transportation and unloading of: cage materials, installation materials, associated hardware, and contractor provided tools and equipment to the work site identified in B2083 located at 510 Borghese Drive, Robins AFB, GA 31098 and in accordance with local and state department of transportation and DOD guidelines. Acceptance of the finished cage solution will be at the discretion of the 116 ACW COR and end-user leadership at the 202 EIS. The selected contractor must ensure acceptable means of transporting project materials and equipment as well as provide adequate capability to mitigate hazardous environmental conditions created from drilling, grinding, and assembly operations. Contractor is responsible for capturing fumes and overspray related to painting operations related to assembly and installation process as well as processing and handling any hazardous materials or waste generated in the overall process in accordance with state and federal environmental directives. Contractor is also responsible for removal and/or disposal of shipping and packaging materials or residue waste associated with tool cage project. Contractor will supply all tools necessary to manufacture and install tool cages for this requirement located in B2083. Contractor is also responsible for any and all rental equipment required to manufacture and install tool cages for this requirement located in B2083.All submitted quotes need to have separate prices for each line item.
