The Cass County Commission is requesting bids for Construction for a renovation of a portion of the jail area within the Cass County Justice Center. The renovation consists of providing five additional housing units that were originally shelled out to varying degrees, additional furniture in three housing units, and a renovation of select booking and medical area spaces.
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Cass County Jail Renovation will be received, by the Cass County Commission, at the office of the Cass County Commissioners conference room located on the third floor of 102 East Wall Street, Harrisonville, Missouri 64701, until June 26th 2019 at 1:30 pm, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. All Bids and Bonding shall be in conformity with the Instruction to Bidders.
The Bidding Documents and copies of the Instructions to Bidders may be examined at the following locations: The office of the Cass County Commission, 102 E. Wall St.,

Prospective bidders will be required to execute the attached Confidentiality Agreement and Authorization for Background Check to receive access to documents. A signed agreement shall be sent to the offices of the Architect to receive the access password. Physical documents will then be available for purchase from Drexel Technologies.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 pm local time on June 11th at the Cass County Justice Center. An alternate pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 pm local time on June 18th. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Potential bidders should enter the facility at the Sheriff’s Office. It will include a tour of the existing conditions which will require signing a non-disclosure agreement and presenting a government issued ID.
