The proposed work includes partial deck replacement, replacement of existing sidewalks, parapet, fencing, expansion joints, and approach slabs. Extensive rehabilitation and partial replacement of the existing abutments is also included. Roadway reconstruction includes the removal of the ramp between W. Bowery Street and Quaker Street, and addition of a raised bike path.
