DOD OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH STAFFING SERVICES

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE BRIDGE CONTRACTThe United States Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Services (WHS/AD) intends to award a sole source bridge contract to the existing Health and Human Services (HHS) Clinical Occupational Health Staffing Services contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, 41 USC 253(c)(1)/FAR 13.501-1(a), to ServeFed Inc., 4539 Metropolitan Court Frederick, MD 21704 for continued clinical occupational health staffing services for the various DoD 4th Estate Agencies. The proposed contract will not exceed a twelve month period of performance and a 6 month extension in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. The contract will bridge the existing contract to a new competitively awarded five year contract will be procured under a Request for Proposal. The solicitation for the follow-on contract will be released in March 2020.ServeFed Inc., by virtue of being the incumbent contractor, is the only responsible source for the bridge contract. The execution of the bridge contract will prevent any potential adverse impact to the mission of the DoD 4TH Estate agencies, which would occur in the event of interruption or disruption of the work presently being performed. Contact Information: Andrea M.
