Architectural Services - AG Tech Hub Olds College is embarking on an exciting project to fill a skills gap in Agriculture Technology. As technology applications on-farm and in agribusiness continue to iterate through multiple versions, a significant skill gap exists within the industry when it comes to supporting producers trying to integrate disparate systems. The creation of the AG-Tech Hub that will host this integration of agriculture and technology. Olds College will take advantage of the opportunity to reinvent and reinvest

in an existing facility on the campus to become the hub of educational programming for this new department, AG Tech Hub.
The College is looking for a firm that has considerable experience with Post-Secondary Institutions as well as a demonstrated ability of working with those institutions to create collaborative research/teaching/ lab facilities that will be functional, adaptable, flexible, and technology capable.
The James Murray Building has been designated as the host site for the Agriculture Technology Hub. It was built in 1961 and has several additions. Its current footprint is approximately 2600 square meters and it is directly connected to the Robert Turner Building. This project will focus on the complete renovation/revitalization of the building to accommodate the Ag Tech functional Program Plan.
