MCC, due to its status as a political subdivision of the state of Missouri and its entitlement to sovereign immunity, is unable to accept contract provisions that require the indemnification of others. Any indemnity language in proposed terms and conditions will be modified to conform to language acceptable to MCC. MCC is a political subdivision of the state of Missouri and as such cannot create indebtedness in any one year above what it can pay out of the annual income of said year. Should MCC determine it has not received adequate appropriations budget allocations income to enable it to meet the terms of this Contract, MCC reserves the right to cancel this Contract with a 30 days’ notice. Multi-year term and supply contracts and leases and the exercise of options to renew are subject to annual

GENERAL The product requested is generally described as VETERINARY ULTRASOUND AND X-RAY MACHINES which will be used at the MCC Maple Woods campus, Veterinary Technology Department of Metropolitan Community College. B. SCOPE OF EQUIPMENT The Ultrasound and Radiology machines will be used by both students and staff in the Veterinary Technology Department. SPECIFICATIONS A. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS 1. Ultrasound Machine a. Compact, lightweight and durable b. Touchscreen c. Tilt and swivel screen d. Two (2) transducers, (linear array and micro-convex) e. Completely sealed control panel to provide cleanliness of panel. f. Machine must be very user friendly for beginners/students and not have a lot of buttons or options, yet provide good quality image. g. Include with the bid the machine’s descriptive literature and detailed specifications. h. Make and model of ultrasound machine must be one that is currently widely used in veterinary clinics. Provide with bid a listing of veterinary clinics that have purchased the same make and model within the past three (3) years. i. Bid must include any setup charge if applicable. j.
