These core areas include Democracy, the economy, the Civil War and other topics which pertain to people, places, and events in world history.Product characteristics an equal item must meet to be considered:• Must be able to provide social studies content that pairs books with videos and reinforce literacy skills, vocabulary, and reading comprehension• Must be able to support social studies and history curriculums with material that assist in building content-area knowledge and has content that helps build critical study skills• Must offer study units covering at a minimum the following topics: Ancient World, Democracy, Immigration, Economy, Today's World, Colonial Era, Westward Expansion, Slavery and Civil War, The 20th Century and War.• Must be able to interface with the Air Force Portal, Army Knowledge Online (AKO), Marine Corps, Military OneSource, and Navy Digital Library
