Sources Sought USATA SOL# PANRSA -19-P-0000-003712 (1 June 2019- 30 May 2024) This is a sources-sought announcement only for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a Solicitation. This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to accomplish market research and support planning for the below listed requirements. The Government will not pay for any information or reimburse anycosts incurred in responding to this RFI. No solicitation is being issued at this time. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps). It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.The Government is seeking interested contractors for a contract to provide repair and calibrations of
equipment for the U. S Army Test Maintenance, Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Activity (USATA) during the period of 1 June 2019 - 30 May 2024. Contractor shall use OEM Fluke Electronics Corperation specific equipment/model being as part of its Calibration Scope of Competency and have a valid ISO 17025. The contractor shall provide the necessary equipment, facilities, resources, management, and labor by qualified personnel to perform the calibrations and repairs to the warranty specifications. The contractor shall provide the government with copies of their third party accredited Scope of Competency and Certificate in accordance with ISO 17025 (CDRL A001 - Certificate of Compliance, Accredited Commercial Calibration Activities (CCA's))Equipment calibrations and repairs must be calibrated to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Warranted Specifications unless otherwise notified of a requirement for a deviation. The calibration must provide data, uncertainty, and traceability to include the standards used for the calibration. The contract shall perform a commercial factory calibration and repair to the equipment. The contractor shall replace defective parts, as required, with original equipment manufacturer parts only. The contractor shall apply applicable factory-proprietary software and firmware updates at intervals required by the original equipment manufacturer.Request that interested contractors provide the following:1) Provide a description of your company's experience and capabilities with establishing and providing repair and calibrations to Fluke Electronics equipment for USG customers.2) Provide a description of your company's experience in diagnosing, testing, repairing and calibrating services for the U.S. TMDE Activity USATA.3) Describe how your company intends to perform this effort.General:The experience/expertise description should be no more than 5 pages long.
