The USDA Forest Service has a requirement for Percolation Tests and Reports. This project is to provide state of the art, environmentally sensitive housing and educational facilities to support the Hawaii Experimental Tropical Forest (HETF). HETF is designated on State of Hawaii lands and is managed by the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources. The State has offered a site that consists of several existing buildings in fair condition that will be remodeled to serve the needs of the project. This site currently has water and old wastewater systems. The two single story buildings are a 1,204 SF Meeting house with 1,312 SF Exterior Patio & Lanai and 1,456 SF Lake House. This task order will include percolation testing for anticipated new leach field and septic system.
