National Council of Teachers of Mathematics invites applications for Enhancing Student Mathematics Learning through the Use of Tools and Technology Grant

Founded in 1920, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics(NCTM) is the world’s largest mathematics education organization.NCTM invites applications for the Enhancing Student Mathematics Learning through the Use of Tools and Technology Grant (PK-12). Grants of $3,000 will be awarded to encourage the innovative use of technology and other tools to help teachers and students visualize and concretize mathematics abstractions. The focus of the proposal should be on the mathematics being taught and innovative uses of the tools and technology.Eligible organizations include schools, school districts, universities, or nonprofit mathematics education organizations. The primary applicant must be a current (on or before the application deadline) essential or premium member of NCTM and currently teach mathematics in grades PK-12 at least 50 percent of the day or be a full-time mathematics coach.For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics
