Added:Jun 24, 2019 5:10 pm The Forest Service anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price construction contract to build a new warehouse building. New building will consist of two building types; warehouse and mini-storage. The warehouse portion will be heated and constructed using Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF's) with all building envelope assemblies insulated in compliance with the International Energy Code. The mini-storage portion will be constructed using typical wood framing practices with only a single bay insulated as identified in the drawings. This procurement is being set-aside 100% for small business. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies (other than for those listed as Government-furnished items), utility coordination and supervision necessary to build the warehouse.The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 236220 commercial and institutional building construction and the small business size standard is $36.5 million, set-aside 100% for small business.The solicitation package will be available on or about July 19, 2019 and should be downloaded from this website at that time. No hard copies will be mailed out. The work is estimated to begin September 17, 2019 for 120 calendar day. Depending on weather conditions, construction work may need to resume in spring 2020.
