Bid Comments:
The County of Santa Clara (hereafter, “County”) is seeking proposals from qualified organizations who can provide oral over-the-phone interpretation services that will enhance public access to County services and resources, consistent with the intent of the County’s Language Access Policy, to ensure all county residents enjoy equitable access services.  These services will be accessed by various agencies and departments within the County. There is high demand throughout the County for oral over-the-phone interpretation services.  Service areas include, but are not limited to:
 
Social Services and Public Benefits
Legal and Court Services
Criminal Justice Offices
Clerk-Recorder and Public Records
Public Health and Mental Health Services
Health and Hospital Systems
Facilities and Fleet
County Executive Offices
 
Proposer must provide a high degree of quality assurance, diverse range of language expertise, and an expertise in the aforementioned industries/service arenas. A more comprehensive scope of work is included in
Appendix A herein.
 
The County retains sole discretion to make a single award, multiple awards, or no award based on this Request for Proposal (RFP).  The resulting contract(s) shall be for a term of three (3) years with an option to renew for two (2) additional years, unless terminated earlier or otherwise amended.
