REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION SERVICES – PROJECT #19-013-F SKAGIT TRANSIT Skagit Transit, the public transportation provided in Skagit County, is seeking Statement of Qualifications from consulting firms with expertise and experience in Construction Management and Inspection Services. The selected firm will provide construction oversight for Skagit Transit’s newly acquired facility “MOA ll”. Phase l will complete the energy envelope of the south and east section of the facility, the energy envelope includes insulation, roofing and siding. Utilities will be rough-in and ready for the next phase of the work. The entire project is located at 11784 Bay Ridge Drive, Burlington, WA 98233. Solicitation documents for this project are available for down loading from our website at www.skagittransit.org under “About Us” in the Procurement section. It is the Consultant’s responsibility to
contact Elisa Rizzo to be added to the bid list @ erizzo@skagittransit..org. All addenda will be posted at www.skagittransit.org. Interested Proposers are encouraged to attend an optional pre-proposal meeting and site visit July 30, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. (PST), at the Skagit Transit, 11784 Bay Ridge Drive, Burlington, WA 98233. Submittals are due no later than 3:00 p.m. (PST) on September 4, 2019. This project is funded in part by a Federal Transit Administration Grant. All work performed for this project is subject to Federal funding requirements, including Federal and Washington State prevailing wage rates. Skagit Transit, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
