RFI - Cloud Based Printing

Added:May 22, 2019 3:43 pm Telecommunication Information Systems Command (TISCOM) in support of the United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking information on how an interested contractor could provide a Printing Solution compatible with the USCG future state cloud environment.THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the USCG to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the USCG is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Offerors are advised that the USCG will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website https://www.fbo.gov/. It is the responsibility of the potential offers to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement.The Coast Guard is transitioning the organization's email and file storage into a cloud environment. This transition will occur over an extended period of time. This conversion has the potential to include, but is not limited to, the USCG print capabilities being shifted to a similar environment. The USCG is exploring the possibility of implementing an organization wide print solution that would accommodate the future cloud based environment. The solution could be centralized or on premise, or a combination of the two environments. However, the solution must support Disconnected, Disadvantaged, Intermittent, and Low Bandwidth (DDILB)
