Owner's Agent Description Scope of Services The City of Vernon is requesting proposals for industrial medical services to conduct physical examinations for pre-employment, post-accident/workers’ compensation services, return to work/fitness for duty, DOT physical examinations, drug and alcohol testing (both DOT and Non-DOT), and physical examination testing as required for non-safety and safety personnel. The City will select one firm, based on demonstrated competence and a cost effective approach to conducting efficient and cost effective industrial medical services. Other Details The City is seeking a local facility to provide industrial medical services in close proximity to the City Hall as well as multiple geographical locations in the surrounding areas for its applicants and employees. The City requires urgent care locations that offer extended hours of operation to support employee injuries that occur outside of standard business hours including weekends. The City desires a provider that allows the scheduling of pre-employment examinations within 2-3 days and provides timely results/reports from all services. The provider must be able to see patients/employees in a timely manner and without extended delays. The City desires a provider that can guarantee wait times of no more than 30 minutes. The selected provider must be committed to a high level of customer service to the City as well as its current and prospective City employees. Notes See RFP for additional information.
