Update FAR 52.252-3: Alterations in SolicitationAll other terms and conditions remain the same********************************************************************PURPOSE: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation for Rental Services of a 90-Ton Rough Terrain Crane for utilization on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Shop Barge ND-40.PROJECT DESCRIPTION: USACE anticipates a base with one

(1) option; firm fixed-price Service contract for Crane Rental.1) BASE: The rental crane will be positioned on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Shop barge ND-40 for the duration of the rental period and will travel by water to various facilities within the District during the repair season (15 March - 15 November) and will be docked at USACE Navigational Facilities along the Cumberland and Tennessee River during the off-season (15 November - 15 March). The equipment will be operated, tested, and maintained by trained, certified, licensed, and designated, USACE Nashville District employees. The required equipment shall consist of a Rough Terrain crane with a nominal land based capacity of 90 tons and 142' 5" or more feet of boom and be in accordance with the Solicitation.OPTIONS:1) Option 1: Extends the period of performance by 365 calendar days.NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 532412; Construction, Mining and Forestry Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing, with a small business size standard of $32.5 million.TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: 100% Total Small Business Set-AsideSOLICITATION AND CONTRACT TYPE: It is anticipated that from the RFQ Solicitation, the Government will award one Firm-Fixed Price Service Contract with a base and one option to the company that provides the lowest priced quote who is determined to be responsive and responsible.PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The anticipated period of performance for the base and option is approximately 730 calendar days.SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Offerors MUST be successfully registered in SAM, www.sam.gov, at the time of quote submission.
