PHONE SERVICE CONTRACT 6-MONTH

The Bureau of Indian Education intends to award sole source firm fixed price purchase order to SBC Global Services/AT&T., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. It has been determined that SBC/AT&T: SBC/AT&T is currently in operations at Haskell Indian Nations University(HINU) they are the preferred vendor for Phone Services for DOI, BIA and BIE offices and they are familiar with the needs of the Federal Government. HINU has invested a significant amount of money, time and resources to using the phone system. There would be many additional costs of federal employee labor and funding if the phone systems would switch. This includes a possible purchase of different office phones, (over 200 phones). The purpose of this procurement is to award based on a sole source requirement, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. A solicitation will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, interested parties may submit a description of their firm’s capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess the ability to successfully perform this effort.
