NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Bids will be received by the University of Utah U Facilities for: HMHI FARMINGTON PARKING LOT REMOVE AND REPLACE University Project Number : UU-70535 Construction Budget : $ 220,000.00 Bids will be in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by University of Utah U Facilities, hereinafter referred to as “A/E” as defined in the General Conditions. Scope of Work : Remove all asphalt in the existing area and replace it with new asphalt. Include striping for parking stalls including handicap and walkways. A Mandatory Site Walk will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. MT, at 225-291 S 200 W, Farmington, UT 84025 Effective September 10, 2018, the University has retired the previous state mandated Surety Bond Forms and is now requiring the use of the AIA Bid Bond Form A310-2010 and Performance and Payment Bond Form A312-2010. Upon issuance of the Notice of Intent to the selected bidder (a letter to the Contractor issued by U Facilities) and the official Contract (Contractor's Agreement), the undersigned agrees to return the original signed Contract, and deliver acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds in the prescribed form in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum for faithful performance of the Contract, and deliver an acceptable Certificate of Insurance, all within ten (10) calendar days of the date on the Notice of Intent, unless a shorter time is specified in the Contract Documents.
