IP VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SOLUTION The Board issues this Request for Proposal (hereafter referred to as “RFP”) for solicitation of competitive proposed solutions for the provision an IP Video Surveillance Solution generally consisting of:
 a browser accessed and administered video management console;
 role based security integrated with Active Directory and single sign-on (SSO) capabilities;
 IP cameras, equipped with on-board storage capabilities as the primary video storage;
 configuration design, solution deployment

and project management services; and
 user training and documentation.
The successful solution will initially be installed at five (5) Board sites as a proof of concept deployment to replace 239 cameras currently installed. Based on the experiences, costs and the capabilities of the successful proponent and solution offerings at the proof of concept sites, the Board may pursue funding approval to phase in deployment of the new video surveillance solution at the remaining 72 Board sites equipped with video surveillance systems entailing an additional
2300 cameras. The Board may also consider future phases of the project and deployment of the video surveillance solution up to an additional 88 Board sites that do not presently have video surveillance.
The ideal proposal will facilitate the Board’s goals to leverage cloud offerings and minimize onpremise hardware installations where possible, while provisioning a cost effective and sustainable solution. Thus, the Board is looking for video surveillance data storage on the camera (at the edge) with browser accessed video management console/software to connect users to live camera views and stored video data. The proposed solution should also advance the Board’s strategic directions, and leverage, where possible, existing investments in technology infrastructure, which include
SDWAN and broadband internet services, wireless access points / Wi-Fi deployments and cloud/Azure offerings.
