The City anticipates a partnership with the Real Estate Broker to actively market City owned properties as designated by the City for sale and development as well as City land acquisitions. The City anticipates this agreement to be for two (2) years initially with the ability to renew for a one (1) year basis. All sales and acquisitions shall fully comply with State of Colorado Real Estate laws, Montezuma County, and City of Cortez regulations and best practices. The Real Estate Broker will be required to fully market the properties within the local and regional Multi-Listing Services (MLS) and be available to show the properties as needed with potential buyers/commercial customers. Broker must have an active Colorado Real Estate Broker's License. Broker may not be debarred, suspended or otherwise prohibited from practice by federal, state, or local governments. 2. Broker shall designate at least one individual whose expertise is in commercial sales to the firm's primary contact with the City. The designated broker must be licensed and in good standing. 3. Broker must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience selling commercial real estate in the Montezuma County/Cortez area. 4.
