Added:Oct 10, 2019 2:56 pmPERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS)COOLING TOWERS REFURBISHSECTION 1: GENERAL INFORMATIONScope of Work: The contractor to provide labor, materials and equipment to repair/refurbish two Marley Cooling Towers at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA ACC, 420 North James Road, Columbus, OH 43219. Work is to include remove existing fill in two cells and dispose of in dumpster provided by the vendor. Mechanically grind cold water basin of two cells to the Society for Protective Coating (SSPC)-SP15 finish and coat with CIM urethane membrane, sealing towers water tight. Mechanically grind wetted area sidewalls of two cells to a SSPC-SP15 finish, overlay areas as necessary with sheet metal and coat with CIM urethane membrane, sealing towers water tight. Install new Brentwood Industries heavy duty XF-75 15mil Fill Pack provided by the vendor for two cooling towers.Performance Period: The contractor shall start the work required under this PWS within seven weeks or less from date of
award, unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer (CO). If the contractor proposes an earlier completion date, and the Government accepts the contractor s proposal, the contractor s proposed completion date shall prevail.Hours of Operation:The Contractor shall perform all work during hours 7:00am 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays. A person with the authority to enter into, administers, and/or terminates contracts and makes related findings. The Contracting Officer is the only individual who has the authority to contractually bind the Government. The Contracting Officer may designate a Government employee to act as his authorized technical representative.Contracting Officer Representative (COR). The person has been designated as the authorized representative of the Contracting Officer acting within the limits of his/her authority. This individual shall not be authorized to award, agree to, or sign any contract or modification thereto, or in any way to obligate the payment of money by the Government. Fully Qualified is based: upon training and on experience in the field.SECTION 4: INFORMATION SECURITY REQUIREMENTSThe C&A requirements do not apply, and that a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
