RFP - Public Parking Lot Identification and Wayfinding SignageStart Date:04/02/2024 6:00 PMClose Date:04/30/2024 5:00 PM The Village is seeking proposals for final design, fabrication, and installation services related to new parking lot identification and wayfinding signage and associated lighting near public surface parking areas in downtown Homewood. The project includes the development of two types of signage: Parking lot entry identification signage (ground-mounted) with uplighting system Parking lot wayfinding signage (pole-mounted) The main purpose of this project is to increase the visibility of public surface parking facilities in downtown Homewood. The Village owns and maintains eight public parking lots in the “Downtown” and “Southgate” commercial areas of Homewood. As overall business traffic and levels of development increase in the downtown area and other commercial nodes in Homewood, additional efforts are being taken to ensure that visitors and residents are able to locate public parking facilities near popular destinations. This signage will both identify entrances to public parking areas, while also providing wayfinding to guide visitors from major streets and thoroughfares to public parking areas. This project will fulfill the Village's goal to improve business retention and growth in the downtown district and surrounding business areas.
