J065--Notice of Intent Sole Source - LivaNova USA, Inc. for Full Service Maintenance of Cardiopulmanary Equipment

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to LivaNova USA, Inc, 100 Cyberonics Blvd Houston, Texas 77058 for the following services: Preventive Maintenance LivaNova Cardiopulmanary Equipment (S5 Heart Lung Bypass Consoles, 3T Heater-Cooler and and PAS XTRA Autotransfusion System). This proposed contract action is for a service in which the Government intends to award a One (1) Year base firm fixed-price contract, plus (4) option years at the option of the Government. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811210 with a size standard of $30 million. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.
