The Embassy of the United States in Eritrea will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available.The requirement is for the provision of VPN internet services and circuitry via satellite for the U.S. Embassy in Asmara, Eritrea.The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with two one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.The Government anticipates making two contract awards resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offerors who are responsible contractors. The Government may award the contracts based on the initial offers without discussions. The resultant contracts will be firm fixed price type contracts.All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
