The Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation’s mission is to preserve, enhance, restore and conserve Vermont’s natural resources and protect human health for the benefit of this and future generations. In an effort to provide clean, well-maintained vehicles to all state employees for use of traveling on state business Fleet Management Services (FMS) routinely and thoroughly ensures maintenance and repairs of their passenger vehicles and light duty trucks. The use of state-owned vehicles provides safe, cost-effective transportation to employees while performing their official duties and the State’s commitment to our environment by reducing the environmental impact of state employee travel.

DEC is seeking proposals for the maintenance and regular servicing of the Department’s fleet of approximately 65 vehicles in over 10 Vermont communities. This project is contingent upon funding availability, with an estimated timeframe of two (2) years with an option to renew based on successful performance of the contract. Bidders may submit a proposal for all 65 vehicles based in the ten (10) Vermont communities outlined above, or bidders may submit a proposal which includes only those vehicles which are within their specific geographic service area.
