ITB # 2019-026 - 10' Stainless Steel Body Dump Truck - ADDENDUM #1 Description: The City of Salem, Virginia, is requesting sealed bids from qualified Bidders to provide and deliver one (1) new non-CDL compliant truck equipped with a 10’ Stainless Steel Dump Body, with a 10’ 2 Way Power Reversing Snow Plow, in accordance with Invitation to Bid (ITB) # 2019-026. One (1) original and two (2) copies of the sealed bid will be received at the office of the Purchasing Department for the City of Salem until 3:00 PM on April 18, 2019at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in City Hall, 114 North Broad Street, Salem, Virginia 24153. Bid documents may be obtained from Cassandra “Nikki” Switzer, Buyer, City of Salem Purchasing Department, 114 North Broad Street, Salem, VA 24153, by calling (540) 375-3063, or by email at cnswitzer@salemva.gov. The City of Salem reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn after opening except for clerical errors, as set forth in Section 2.2-4330 of the Virginia Code. Bidder must give the City a notice in writing of the request to withdraw a bid within two (2) business days after conclusion of opening.
