September 10th & 11th, 2019This will be a "Distribution D" event only; attendees must be representatives from DOD, DOD Contractors, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) and University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs).Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Repair capabilities can enable more robust and available systems; these explosive technologies must be embraced, implemented and deployed. This forum will highlight accomplishments to date with a focus on implementation and deployment by Industry, Academia and ISEA communities. The second day of the event will consist of Workshops to generate implementation concepts, strategies, and candidate projects in this space. The first day will include briefings by leaders in Government and Industry with Workshops being the main focus for day 2.Invitation Link:

The panel will focus on the need for data assurance, the employment of artificial intelligence / data science, file / configuration and library management, and support for the ISEA and Fleet user in bandwidth-constrained environments.Workshop 3 - This workshop will facilitate a discussion on how the ISEA of the Future model will need to adapt to provide solutions for Fleet logistics, repair and sustainment in the Shipyard (and by extension, IMA and Depot) of the Future. It will discuss requirements, gaps, authorities and challenges in attaining the objectives of the Shipyard Implementation Optimization Plan (SIOP), as well as the role of the Warfare Centers in effecting forward repair, (including in deployed / expeditionary and battle damage repair situations). The panel will lay out the expectations for Warfare Center participation in the Shipyard / Warfare Center Summit to follow the Fall 2019 ISEA of the Future Forum.Workshop 4 - ISEA Prototype Project Proposals: The ISEA of the Future Project Leads will host a workshop on potential projects to prototype concepts, experiments and technologies to accelerate implementation of the vision for ISEA of the Future.Workshop 5 - Asymmetric Industrial Operations as disruptive technologies: This workshop will explore how the ISEA of the Future, Fleet and Fleet Marine Force can use Additive Manufacturing and related technologies to achieve disruptive effects on the 21st Century high end fight battlefield.Workshop 6 - Harnessing Industry Innovation in support of forward logistics, supply and sustainment: This workshop will examine how to harness Industry expertise and innovation in Additive Manufacturing, Advanced Repair and Advanced Coating technologies to provide solutions for Fleet logistics, repair and sustainment. It will explore how the ISEA of the Future can integrate industry as part of their distributed engineering toolbox, as well as what unique capabilities, insights and Other Transactional Authorities (OTAs) might be employed in accelerating Industry capabilities in support of keeping and returning ships to sea, and Marines to the field.Workshop 7 - ISEA Prototype Project Planning and Funding Strategies: The ISEA of the Future Project Leads will use the results from the morning proposal workshop to discuss timelines, strategies and approaches to fund and promote prototype concepts, experiments and technologies to accelerate implementation of the vision for ISEA of the Future.R.S.V.P. by 27 August 2019
