FEE: $ 70.63 NON-REFUNDABLE Method of Payment: Cash, Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Debit Card or Cheque (payable to: City of Mississauga) Description of Procurement: The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (the City) requires a competent and qualified Bidder to supply and deliver grass seed for the City’s Parks and Forestry Operations. To be considered, Bidders must be able to demonstrate that they meet the mandatory requirements: • They are readily available to undertake Contract requirements for seed to be delivered in April 2019; • They have been in the business of grass seed for a minimum of three (3) years; • They can provide technical data specific to the composition of product offered; • They have relevant experience (with contracts of comparable size, scope and complexity) with a minimum of one municipal contract successfully completed or in process (within the last three years); • They have sufficient qualified staff (including dedicated administrative staff) and capacity to properly service and administer the Contract; • They have adequate vehicles and equipment; • They properly train all staff and ensure that they comply with all Occupational Health and Safety legislation; • They have a proven track record of providing continuous working crews and meeting established project schedules. It is the intent of the City to award the Contract to more than one Bidder who complies substantially with the RFT requirements. Recurring Contract: No Delivery Schedule for Goods or Services OR Contract Duration: The term of the Contract is for Spring and Fall 2019 requirements, commencing on the date of a Purchase order, approximately late March and expiring on December 31, 2019. Procurement Method: Request for Tender (RFT) Language(s) Permitted for Supplier Responses: English only Specific Conditions for Procurement: The responses received will be reviewed as to price, qualifications, capabilities and experience of the bidder and the availability of funds by the Municipality to complete the work. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive informalities in accordance with established policy.
