2019 Municipal Development Standards The Town of Stony Plain is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed and professional consulting firms to revise and update the Towns existing Municipal Development Standards, hereinafter called "M.D.S", with the integration of any and all necessary changes to bring the document into a state that is in compliance with current Industry standards. This does not preclude the

creation of new standards from scratch. The project will need to incorporate all disciplines within the review including, but not limited to: Civil Engineering, Geo-technical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Utilities Engineering, Material Testing and Landscaping. In addition, there will also be formal planning processes to guide development that need to be incorporated into the document. The successful proponent will put on an internal workshop with staff to determine the required changes as well as an open house with industry.
The Town has an approved budget of $75,000 and would like to have the document finalized by Dec 15, 2019. The Town asks that proponents keep their proposal to a maximum of 20 pages, excluding attachments. The Town would like to have the document finalized by Dec 15, 2019.
