This RFP is to provide minimum requirements, solicit proposals and gain adequate information from which the City may evaluate the vendor's products and services as they compare to other vendors and as they pertain to the needs of the City's organization as defined in this document.BackgroundThe City is organized into approximately thirty-three (33) departments/divisions, with approximately 1100 full-time employees, and provides a full range of municipal services to its citizens including fire and police protection, animal care and municipal court facilities, water and sanitary sewer utilities, solid waste collection services and residential recycling, a regional landfill, the construction of streets, drainage and other infrastructure, recreation activities, swimming pools and athletic fields, public library and other facilities used for various cultural and civil activities.The benefit insurance plan year coincides with the City’s Fiscal Year, October 1 – September 30.
