1. General Information:This solicitation is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement and corresponding attachments constitute the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate solicitation will not be issued.Solicitation W912LQ-20-Q-0001 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-06 Item I, effective 10 September 2019. This procurement is being issued unrestrictred under NAICS code 334310 Audio & Video Equipment Manufacturing and PSC 5965 Headsets, Handsets, Microphones & Speakers with a size standard of 750 employees.The contractor shall provide the Virginia National Guard 29th ID Band with needed sound equipment to facilitate its mission to provide high quality

professional level music to soldiers and civilians of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Salient Characteristics accompanying this announcement outline specific requirements. In accordance with National Guard Regulation (NGR) 601-1, paragraph 7-10, rental fees are prohibited and will not be paid.Award will be made on the basis of low price including the evaluation for multiple awards. Multiple awards may be made if determined to be in the best interest of the government. For evaluation purposes only, a fee of $500 per award will be applied during the evaluation - this fee is an administrative tool for evaluation purposes only and is not actually added into any quoted or contract costs. The purpose of adding an administrative fee for evaluation purposes is to determine if it is prudent for the government to award multiple contracts.
