ITB AP 40-24 NTB- 1 Notice to Respondents CONSTRUCT BAGGAGE CLAIM EXPANSION NOTICE TO RESPONDENTS ITB AP 40-24 CONSTRUCT BAGGAGE CLAIM EXPANSION at DESTIN-FORT WALTON BEACH AIRPORT (VPS) OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, FL, will accept bids until March 27, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. (C.S.T.) for Construct Baggage Claim Expansion. Okaloosa County (COUNTY) and the airport staff (AIRPORT) desire to modify the existing baggage claim systems and construct an expansion of the baggage claim portion of the east terminal non-secure public use areas as well as the canopy over the baggage claim load belts in the secure area. The project will construct a baggage claim expansion with baggage claim systems, rental car counters and offices, and airline baggage offices. The project will also renovate the existing baggage claim portion of the east terminal. Impacts to existing airport facilities that will be incurred include: connection

to water, sewer, gas, electrical, landscaping, covered walkway, and other airport facilities. Funding for this project is being provided by federal funds (FAA, AIP and PFC regulated funds), CFC regulated funds, and Airport local match funds and will be subject to all applicable County, State and Federal requirements as determined applicable.
