TRIBAL LIAISON REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

This announcement is a Request for Information (RFI) for the Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Marine Fisheries Service, Alaska Fisheries Science Center requirement. This announcement does not constitute a formal Request for Quotes (RFQ) or Request for Proposals (RFP). No contract will be awarded from this announcement and the announcement is not an indication that the Department of Commerce will contract for any of the items and/or services presented in this document and attachments. Any formal solicitation that may subsequently be issued will be announced separately.The primary objective of the Tribal Liaison is to connect with someone or a group who not only understands different Alaska Native cultures, values and ways of communicating, but also has established relationships in Alaska Native communities. This work will enable the AFSC to more effectively carry out its ‘science mission and better serve the constituent base.The

Government invites industry to review the draft Statement of Work (SOW) and provide capability statements as well as questions/comments on efficient and/or economical requirements development consistent with industry best practices.The Government presents this Request for Information (RFI) to seek input from industry on the stated requirements and potential acquisition strategy. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) and offers will not be accepted. The Government will not make an award resulting from this RFI. Any information received in response will be used to inform a potential solicitation with the intent to make a Government contract award.The Department of Commerce is not responsible for any cost incurred by responders to this RFI.The due date and time for questions concerning this RFI is October 15, 2019. The due date for responses to this RFI is October 30, 2019.
