RFP CE20190403 Social Marketing Advertising Services This RFP is for two types of services: Marketing Communications and Research. The BCSC anticipates contracting with two different suppliers and does not anticipate choosing a single supplier for both types of services.
The BCSC is the independent provincial government agency responsible for regulating capital markets in British Columbia through the administration of the Securities Act. Our mission is to protect and promote the public interest by

·    A dynamic and competitive securities industry that provides investment opportunities and access to capital
Protecting investors is a cornerstone of the BCSC's mandate and we do this in several ways: we license and oversee individuals and firms that deal and advise in securities; we make and enforce rules of conduct for market participants; and we educate investors.
The capital markets sector is complex and nuanced. Supporting the BCSC in its public education work requires specialized knowledge about securities regulation and related enforcement matters. We expect proponents responding to this tender will be able to demonstrate their understanding of the BCSC's unique role as a public interest regulator.
