Item Work Description US 36 Added Travel Lanes from 0.28 miles south of SR 38 to SR9/SR67 N. Jct. in Madison Co. This item also includes the adjacent SR 9 Added Travel Lanes from the US 36 north junction to Huntsville Road (Des# 1802854). The selected firm will perform the design and plan development work necessary to produce the construction contract documents. The selected firm will be required to provide an Engineering Assessment Report, Environmental Documentation, all Permits, Geotechnical Services, Topographic Survey, Utility

Coordination, Hydraulic Analysis, Design and Plan Development, Pavement Design, Right of Way Plan Development (including Abstracting, R/W Engineering and R/W Staking, as needed), and Construction Phase Services. Additional services may also be required, such as Wetland Mitigation, Archaeological Investigations and Historical/Architectural Investigations. INDOT will provide Real Estate Acquisition Services. There is the potential for the addition of access control and pedestrian facilities, including lighting, to this item via a potential partnering agreement between INDOT and the Town of Pendleton. The selected consultant's fee proposal shall be due 45 calendar days after the selection date for this RFP item. These contracts will utilize the INDOT eInvoice application.
