This software enables the Ophthalmologist to receive, review, and diagnose patient images from a remote location (to the patient). The contractor shall provide licenses listed below: The iViews Imaging System is an informatics application for use in ophthalmology clinics. This software allows for diagnostic reviewing through application access on the desktop wherever the ophthalmic imaging and electronic reports are needed for review. Once the images are sent through the iViews Imaging System to the imaging server, all images and Portable Document Format (PDF) files are available for viewing in iViews. This solution uses Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server database to store imaging and patient data. All data is stored on iViews servers that are hosted on VA premises. Data is encrypted using Microsoft SQL encryption. 2.
