The requirement is for the providing of Primary & secondary internet services to the U.S. Embassy Mbabane, Eswatini. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to responsible offerors representing best value using comparative evaluation authorized under FAR 13.106-2(b) (3).The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government.
Sole Source Justification - Internet Services at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. -- DG10We've procured internet subscription services for mechanical systems that are not integrated with the government network.To support and maintain cemetery operations, the fuel pump and irrigation system(s) required a separate internet. Since they weren't able to be integrated into the government's network, this procurement satisfied the requirement.
To offer better service and achieve cost savings, many cities are moving away from having their own links and engaging with internet service providers (ISP’s) to provide them with a managed network service. These agreements became increasingly popular after the 2018 FCC Small Cell order required public agencies to open their assets to private carriers where possible.
The objective of this Request for Prequalification (RFPQ) is for the City of Mississauga to establish a list of up to five (5) prequalified Internet service providers (ISPs). At the City’s option, the maximum number of pre-qualified ISPs that may be included on the list may be increased when the City conducts a refresh of the list.
