The District Board of Trustees of Valencia College (hereinafter called the “College”) is accepting Statement of Qualifications from Landscape Architects ("Consultant") for various Valencia College projects via a continuing service contract. The College may award multiple contracts.
The primary work involved is in the Landscape and Lighting Assessment District 89-1, consisting of maintenance and repair of all, landscape lighting, electrical systems, fountain facilities, and irrigation electrical systems. A listing of sites and plans for each landscape lighting maintenance area has been included in the Appendix section of this Specification.
The County seeks high-quality work, attention to detail and a timely response to all landscaping and irrigation needs and emergencies at landscape and park areas along Atherton Avenue and Saddlewood Drive in Novato. Work performance standards, including sound irrigation, water management, and landscape management practices, shall meet or exceed industry best management practices and standards.
